It's time to ensure Jacksonville continues to work for the people!

Jacksonville deserves leadership that focuses on the issues people deal with every single day; safer neighborhoods, affordable housing, reliable infrastructure, responsive city services, economic opportunity, and a government that truly listens to its residents.

Bryson Morgan is running for City Council District 7 because he believes City Hall should work for the people who live, work, and build their lives here,  not just the well connected. From rising costs and traffic congestion to neighborhood investment and public safety, the decisions made at City Hall directly impact every resident across Jacksonville.

That’s why Bryson is committed to pushing for practical, people-focused policies that strengthen our communities, support working families, improve quality of life, and ensure Jacksonville grows in a way that benefits everyone,  not just a select few.

These priorities are about building a stronger, more connected Jacksonville where every neighborhood has the opportunity to thrive.

More Investments in our Communities

Safer neighborhoods start with stronger investments in our communities. Bryson Morgan believes Jacksonville cannot build long term public safety without also investing in the people, infrastructure, and neighborhoods that make this city work every day.

That means creating safer streets through better lighting, cleaner public spaces, improved infrastructure, youth opportunities, affordable housing, and support for local businesses that drive economic growth across the urban core. When communities are invested in, families feel more secure, neighborhoods become more connected, and businesses are more confident in bringing jobs and opportunity to Jacksonville.

Bryson understands that economic growth and public safety go hand in hand. A thriving Downtown and stronger neighborhoods across District 7 mean more opportunity for residents, more support for small businesses, and a higher quality of life for everyone who calls Jacksonville home.

By making smart, people focused investments now, Jacksonville can build safer homes, stronger neighborhoods, and a city that works better for every resident, not just a select few.

Protecting LGBTQ+ Voices in Jacksonville

Jacksonville should be a city where every person feels seen, respected, and welcomed, regardless of who they are or who they love. As an openly gay man, Bryson Morgan understands how important visibility, representation, and community spaces are, especially at a time when LGBTQ+ history, voices, and identities are increasingly being erased across the state of Florida.

Bryson is not running simply to make history, he is running to ensure every queer person in Jacksonville knows they have a voice in City Hall and a leader who will fight for a city that values inclusion, creativity, and community.

That means supporting local LGBTQ+ organizations, protecting and investing in queer art and cultural spaces, partnering with community groups, and ensuring Jacksonville continues to be a place where people from all backgrounds can safely live, work, create, and thrive. From local businesses and nightlife to public events and the arts community, LGBTQ+ residents have helped shape the culture and identity of Jacksonville for generations.

Bryson believes Jacksonville’s strength comes from its diversity and that investing in inclusive public spaces, community programs, and local culture helps build a stronger, safer, and more connected city for everyone.

Supporting Local Growth Across Jacksonville

Downtown Jacksonville and Riverside are some of the most vibrant and important parts of our city, and Bryson Morgan believes they should be leading Jacksonville’s economic future. From small businesses and restaurants to arts, entertainment, and local entrepreneurs, the urban core has incredible potential to create jobs, attract investment, and strengthen our local economy.

Bryson believes economic growth should focus on building walkable, connected neighborhoods where residents and businesses can thrive together. That means supporting local businesses, revitalizing commercial corridors, improving infrastructure and mobility, investing in public spaces, and encouraging responsible development that adds to the character of our communities instead of pushing residents out.

A stronger Downtown and thriving neighborhoods like Riverside create opportunity across all of Jacksonville. Bryson is committed to helping grow an economy that supports working families, attracts new investment, and makes Jacksonville a city where people want to live, work, and build their future.

Working Class Policies for Working Class Families

Jacksonville families are being squeezed from every direction, rising housing costs, higher insurance rates, increasing utility bills, traffic congestion, and everyday expenses that continue to outpace wages.

Bryson Morgan believes City Hall has a responsibility to make Jacksonville more affordable for the people who live and work here every day.

That means prioritizing affordable housing, investing in reliable public infrastructure, supporting small businesses, improving public transit and mobility, and making sure economic development benefits working families, not just large developers and special interests. Jacksonville should be a city where young people can afford to stay, families can build a future, and longtime residents are not pushed out of the neighborhoods they helped build.

Bryson knows affordability is not just a state or national issue, it’s a local issue that impacts every resident in District 7 and across Jacksonville. From housing and transportation to neighborhood investment and city services, smart local leadership can make a real difference in lowering costs and improving quality of life.

Bryson is committed to fighting for a Jacksonville that is more affordable, more equitable, and full of opportunity for every family.
