About Me.

Bryson Morgan has been active in the Jacksonville community since moving here with his family in 2011 in search of greater opportunity. Originally from Northwest Georgia, Bryson was raised on the values of hard work, perseverance, and always showing up for others. While much of his family still resides in Northwest Georgia and Southern Tennessee, Bryson has built his life here in Jacksonville and is deeply committed to helping the city reach its full potential.

A graduate of Atlantic Coast High School’s Class of 2021, Bryson attended the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa on an academic scholarship before returning home to Jacksonville. Since then, he has worked in a variety of professional roles, from serving as a Marketing Manager at Texas Roadhouse to working as a professional driver delivering packages for an Amazon contractor. Through these experiences, Bryson has gained firsthand insight into the challenges facing working families across Jacksonville, from rising gas prices and housing costs to the increasing difficulty many families face simply trying to make ends meet.

Bryson has also been actively involved in Jacksonville politics and civic engagement since 2019. He volunteered and organized locally during Mayor Donna Deegan’s 2020 congressional campaign and later worked to help elect her as Mayor of Jacksonville in 2023. Over the years, he has participated in community events, neighborhood initiatives, rallies, and fundraisers focused on moving Jacksonville forward and ensuring the city continues growing as a place of opportunity, inclusion, and progress.

Bryson’s passion for Jacksonville is rooted in the belief that strong neighborhoods, local businesses, public spaces, and community investment are what make cities thrive. Whether supporting local events, advocating for smarter development in the urban core, or engaging with residents across the city, Bryson remains committed to helping build a stronger future for Jacksonville.
